Fang Lu's Biographical Summary

			Fang Lu,a distinguished artist, was born in Hui Lai County,Guandong Province in 1945. He had been one of the few who had a hand in setting up the Art College of Shantou University and had been employed there for years. As an artist, now he takes charge of the Fang Lu's Modern Painting Studio. He is also the art majordomo and director of art appraisal committee in the Imagery art center. He, an artist of modernist school with distinctive concepts, would mingle and distillate his feelings of nature and life, aiming at the expression of innermost feelings and artistic conception, endowing his paintings with majestic momentum. By pouring and mixing strong contrast colors together with subjective colors, the exuberant vitality of nature and man is presented to a great extent, giving us infinite inspiration.

· In 1995, published“Fang Lu's Modern Paintings”, a large painting album, by the People's Art Publishing House.

· In 1998, published the large oil painting:Rising in the 5(th) issue of CHINA-the People's Pictorial.
· In 1999, published three works by CHINA-the People's Pictorial with a special report:“Painting to his heart's content the great and wonderful world; presenting to the greatest extent the splendid and glorious life-on Fang Lu's Modern Paintings”.
· In 1999, published two works in the 1(st) & 2(nd) combinded issue of Chao Sheng with Wang Jian's critique: An Integration of Traditional Art with Modern Art-a night thought about Fang Lu's modern paintings.
·Many times displayed works at exhibitions at home and abroad.
